Private treatments include acupuncture plus an additional modality such as cupping, gua sha, e-stim, or tui na medical massage. These sessions are ideal for those seeking a more in-depth treatment and extra one-on-one t consultation time with the acupuncture physician. With sliding scale pricing from $60-$80, quality care remains accessible and affordable for everyone in the community.
Community Style Acupuncture

What is community acupuncture?
It is a unique clinic style with the intention of making acupuncture accessible to everyone. Treatments are based on a sliding scale, delivered in a group setting, and tailored to your specific health needs.

I use distal acupuncture, which means points below the elbows and knees to treat the entire body, so there’s no need to disrobe. It's best to wear loose-fitting clothing such as shorts and a tank top. I can even treat back pain effectively by just using points on your hands and legs!

You will be nearby other people receiving treatment at the same time in comfortable zero gravity loungers and reclining chairs. In our fast-paced society, it’s uncommon for us to take time to relax while surrounded by our peers. This is not a lack of privacy but an opportunity to experience treatment with family, friends, and community. Similar to meditating or practicing yoga in a group setting, you will find that the collective synergistic healing energy in the community clinic will make your individual treatments more powerful.
Ailments commonly treated include:
-
Pain anywhere in the body
-
Headaches
-
Insomnia
-
Stress/anxiety
-
Weakened immune system
-
Fatigue
-
Menopause
-
Menstrual issues
-
Infertility
-
Smoking cessation
-
PTSD

Pricing:
This community acupuncture clinic uses a sliding scale pricing model of $20 to $50 in order to break down the barrier and make acupuncture available to everyone in the community. The sliding scale isn’t meant to be a discount for those with the means, but instead gives those without the means to pay market rate an opportunity to receive healing treatments. Below is a suggested guideline for you about what you should pay based on household income. No income verification is required.
